One of Kullberg&#8217;s videos <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=_BuogisOlLc\">addresses<\/a> how she paid off more than $225,000 in student loans in less than two years. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XXyk_PT9LiM\">Another<\/a> is about her decision to quit a $250,000 job in corporate law.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;YouTube is by far the highest paying social media platform for me,&#8221; Kullberg told <i>Entrepreneur<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>In a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@erikakullberg\/video\/7372283786337275137?lang=en\">video<\/a> posted to her accounts on Thursday, and <a href=\"https:\/\/erika.com\/how-much-social-media-pays\/?utm_source=social+media&amp;utm_medium=reels&amp;utm_campaign=contentdistribution\">earlier<\/a> on her website, Kullberg disclosed that she has two million subscribers on YouTube and her videos on the platform have received around 273 million views.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"lazyload\" loading=\"lazy\" role=\"presentation\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.entrepreneur.com\/images\/misc\/1716584316_6.jpg?width=1000\" style=\"height:667px; width:1000px\"\/><sup><i>Erika Kullberg<\/i><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@erikakullberg\/video\/7177779775543512321\">48-second<\/a> YouTube video Kullberg uploaded in December 2022 that received 4.1 million views made her $106.85. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=XXyk_PT9LiM\">longer<\/a> 12-minute YouTube video with fewer views (3.8 million) posted three years ago gave her a more substantial payout of $45,000 \u2014 for just one video.<\/p>\n<p>Most of the money \u2014 $44,900 out of $45,000 \u2014 came from watch page ads.<\/p>\n<p>Kullberg&#8217;s total earnings from YouTube for the last five years (before taxes and not including brand sponsorships) was more than $353,000.<\/p>\n<blockquote cite=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@erikakullberg\/video\/7372283786337275137\" class=\"tiktok-embed\" data-video-id=\"7372283786337275137\" style=\"max-width: 605px;min-width: 325px;\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@erikakullberg?refer=embed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">@erikakullberg<\/a> How much I get paid from social media ? The bulk of Kullberg&#8217;s following comes from TikTok, where she has 9.2 million followers and 542 million views. There, she has made $5,756 since she began posting two years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Facebook has paid Kullberg nearly four times as much in the same time frame. She has a following of 4.5 million on the platform and made $20,251 over about two years.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s actually not much extra work to monetize on different platforms,&#8221; Kullberg told <i>Entrepreneur.<\/i> &#8220;I&#8217;m using the same short videos and posting them across TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram, and Facebook.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>Related: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/why-are-new-business-applications-at-all-time-high\/474614\"><b>More People Are Exploring Entrepreneurship Because of This Unexpected Reason<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Kullberg has 5.3 million followers on Instagram but makes $0 from the platform because Instagram doesn&#8217;t <a href=\"https:\/\/time.com\/personal-finance\/article\/how-to-make-money-on-instagram\/\">pay<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/time.com\/personal-finance\/article\/how-to-make-money-on-instagram\/\"> creators<\/a> directly anymore.<\/p>\n<p>Though Kullberg has now amassed a following, she shared that it took her about three months of posting one YouTube video per week to get monetized.
