New Report"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>From <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/apple-is-working-on-a-secret-ai-home-robot-device-report\/478551\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">personal robots<\/a> to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/apple-creating-ai-smart-home-device-to-compete-with-amazon\/482853\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">smart home devices<\/a>, there&#8217;s always an overabundance of rumors surrounding what Apple is working on next.<\/p>\n<p>Now, South Korea&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sisajournal-e.com\/news\/articleView.html?idxno=408493\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\"><i>Sisa Journal,<\/i><\/a> a weekly current affairs magazine that has been publishing <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Sisa_Journal\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">since 1989<\/a>, reported on Friday that the tech giant is releasing an &#8220;iPhone 17 Air&#8221; in September, and it will only be 6.25mm thick.<\/p>\n<p>If the rumors are true, this would make the iPhone 17 the thinnest iPhone ever and about 20-25% thinner than all available iPhone 16 models, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.macrumors.com\/2025\/01\/03\/iphone-17-air-thickness-and-price-range-report\/\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">according to MacRumors<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Related:<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/apple-is-working-multiple-foldable-phone-prototypes-report\/469489\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">Apple Is Reportedly Working on Prototypes for at Least 2 Foldable iPhones<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The <i>Sisa Journal<\/i> also reports that the iPhone 17 &#8220;Air&#8221; will not have a &#8220;Plus&#8221; version, and the &#8220;ultra-thin&#8221; device will likely start at $899 in the U.S.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/apple-is-working-on-foldable-iphones-and-ipads-reports\/484341\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">several reports<\/a> noted that Apple may also be adding at least two foldable devices to its iPhone and iPad lineup in 2026.<\/p>\n<p>While Google and Samsung already have foldable devices (with Samsung leading the market, shipping <a href=\"https:\/\/9to5google.com\/2023\/10\/20\/samsung-2024-foldables-target\/\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">over 10 million foldable phones<\/a> in 2023 out of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trendforce.com\/presscenter\/news\/20240221-12033.html\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">15.9 million<\/a> sold), Apple dominates the U.S. smartphone sector with 56% of the mobile market share, per <a href=\"https:\/\/gs.statcounter.com\/vendor-market-share\/mobile\/united-states-of-america\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">Stat Counter<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><b>Related: <\/b><a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/apple-got-a-foldable-device-patent-is-apple-flip-phone\/445112\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">Apple Was Awarded a Patent for a Foldable Phone.
