{"id":15371,"date":"2025-03-11T23:14:42","date_gmt":"2025-03-11T23:14:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/imsfund.com\/?p=15371"},"modified":"2025-03-11T23:14:42","modified_gmt":"2025-03-11T23:14:42","slug":"mrbeast-makes-more-money-from-his-side-hustle-than-youtube","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/imsfund.com\/index.php\/2025\/03\/11\/mrbeast-makes-more-money-from-his-side-hustle-than-youtube\/","title":{"rendered":"MrBeast Makes More Money From His Side Hustle Than YouTube"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>MrBeast is YouTube&#8217;s most-followed creator with <a href=\"https:\/\/vidiq.com\/youtube-stats\/top\/100\/\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">372 million<\/a> subscribers at the time of writing \u2014 but he actually makes more money from a side business.<\/p>\n<p>The 26-year-old, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, owns the chocolate brand Feastables, which generated $251 million in sales and more than $20 million in profit last year, per documents sent to potential investors that were <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2025-03-10\/mrbeast-makes-more-money-from-feastables-chocolate-than-youtube\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">obtained by <i>Bloomberg<\/i><\/a> earlier this week.<\/p>\n<p>Feastables was more profitable than Donaldson&#8217;s main media business, including his YouTube channel and his Amazon Prime reality show &#8220;Beast Games,&#8221; for the first time last year. Although it became Amazon&#8217;s biggest unscripted show ever, with <a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2025\/tv\/news\/mrbeast-beast-games-ratings-viewers-amazon-1236276110\/\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">50 million viewers<\/a> in 25 days, it cost Donaldson tens of millions of dollars of his own money to create because he went over the $100 million budget.<\/p>\n<p>Feastables sells prepackaged bars of chocolate in flavors like milk chocolate, peanut butter, and dark chocolate. The bars cost <a href=\"https:\/\/feastables.com\/products\/milk-chocolate\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">$35<\/a> for a king-size pack of ten. The brand differentiates itself with its commitment to <a href=\"https:\/\/feastables.com\/pages\/ethical-sourcing-mission\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">ethical sourcing<\/a> and a &#8220;better for you&#8221; simple ingredients list consisting of ingredients like organic cacao and grass-fed milk. The chocolate is sold at <a href=\"https:\/\/feastables.com\/pages\/faq#:~:text=No%20Feastables%20chocolate%20products%20contain,all%20in%20their%20ingredient%20processing.\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">stores<\/a> like Walmart, 7-Eleven, and Target in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and <a href=\"https:\/\/feastables.com\/pages\/across-the-globe#:~:text=Indonesia%20Yemen%20Jordan%20UAE%20Qatar,Herzegovina%20South%20Sudan%20North%20Macedonia\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">other countries<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, Donaldson expects sales from Feastables to continue to surpass those from his YouTube channel and media business, per the investor documents, with $288 million from YouTube, $520 million from Feastables, and $105 million from other businesses, including his snack brand <a href=\"https:\/\/lunchly.com\/\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">Lunchly<\/a> and software firm <a href=\"https:\/\/www.viewstats.com\/\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">Viewstats<\/a>, which sells tools to creators to help them grow on YouTube.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" alt=\"\" class=\"lazyload\" loading=\"lazy\" role=\"presentation\" src=\"https:\/\/assets.entrepreneur.com\/images\/misc\/1741724792_MrBeast-GettyImages-2189655755.jpg?width=1000\" style=\"height:667px; width:1000px\" width=\"1000\" height=\"667\"\/><sup><i>Jimmy Donaldson. Photo by Alexi Rosenfeld\/Getty Images<\/i><\/sup><\/p>\n<p>Donaldson <a href=\"https:\/\/www.prnewswire.com\/news-releases\/mrbeast-launches-better-for-you-snacking-brand-feastables-301471133.html\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">launched Feastables<\/a> in January 2022, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/how-youtuber-mrbeast-feastables-uses-giveaways-data-to-sell-chocolate-2022-5\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">raising $5 million<\/a> in the same month for the company at a $50 million valuation. Feastables has been a steadily growing business since, with $33 million in sales in 2022 and $96 million in 2023. Donaldson&#8217;s company Beast Industries is now looking to raise a couple hundred million dollars to grow and move into new areas, like video games and wellness, the documents show.<\/p>\n<p>The company saw its valuation leap from $1.5 billion to about $5 billion last year following a $300 million Series C investment round led by investment firm Alpha Wave, per <i>Bloomberg<\/i>.
