{"id":15458,"date":"2025-03-19T05:56:50","date_gmt":"2025-03-19T05:56:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/imsfund.com\/?p=15458"},"modified":"2025-03-19T05:56:50","modified_gmt":"2025-03-19T05:56:50","slug":"generative-ai-adoption-is-tearing-companies-apart-survey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/imsfund.com\/index.php\/2025\/03\/19\/generative-ai-adoption-is-tearing-companies-apart-survey\/","title":{"rendered":"Generative AI Adoption Is &#8216;Tearing Companies Apart&#8217;: Survey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Every day, there seems to be <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/anthropic-ceo-predicts-ai-will-take-over-coding-in-12-months\/488533\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">AI news<\/a>: a new model, a promising startup, an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/nvidias-insane-ai-chip-demand-leads-to-record-share-price\/481329\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">NVIDIA chip reveal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Now, a new report by Writer, a generative AI platform, and independent research firm Workplace Intelligence, examines how the AI race is affecting companies \u2014 and apparently, it&#8217;s creating a big rift between IT teams, executives, and employees.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/go.writer.com\/enterprise-ai-adoption-survey\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">2025 AI Survey: Generative AI Adoption in the Enterprise<\/a> report surveyed 1,600 workers (800 C-suite executives and 800 employees) in various sectors (technology, financial services, retail and consumer goods, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, and life sciences) across the U.S. and found that almost 72% of the companies are investing at least $1 million each year in generative AI technology.<\/p>\n<p><b>Related:<\/b> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/klarna-ceo-ai-is-capable-of-replacing-all-jobs-mine-too\/485166\" rel=\"follow\" target=\"_self\">&#8216;Not Necessarily Super Excited About This&#8217;: Klarna&#8217;s CEO Says AI Can Take Over All Jobs, Including His Own<\/a><\/p>\n<p>However, despite the spending, only one-third of executives reported seeing a significant return on investment.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, two out of three executives surveyed said generative AI adoption has led to division between teams, while almost half (42%) reported that adopting AI &#8220;is tearing their company apart.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Generative AI holds transformative potential for the enterprise, but it can also create deep rifts within organizations that rely on a patchwork of point solutions or IT-built applications developed in a silo,&#8221; said May Habib, CEO and co-founder at Writer, in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>Still, the survey also found that a majority of employees (at least 9 out of 10) were optimistic about their company&#8217;s approach to generative AI \u2014 and they&#8217;re even paying for it on their own.
