He is the seventh-richest person in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/billionaires\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bloomberg Billionaires Index<\/a> global ranking.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Now Huang says that AI naysayers need to find new talking points.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cListen, if you want to warn the world about the incredible capabilities of this technology, I think it\u2019s been achieved,\u201d Huang said in a recent interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=fr1IQspixmM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Axios cofounder Mike Allen<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>He added that some of his peers are scaring the public by making wide-ranging predictions about <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/tech-sector-layoffs-are-rampant-but-these-senior-level-jobs-are-still-safe-from-ai\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">AI\u2019s impact on jobs<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe just all have to be thoughtful and careful,\u201d Huang said. \u201cWe\u2019re scaring people.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-huang-thinks-leaders-should-be-honest-about-ai\">Huang thinks leaders should be honest about AI<\/h2>\n<p>Huang <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/nvidia-ceo-jensen-huang-ai-jobs-message-for-graduates-commencement-speech\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">advocated for balance<\/a> when it comes to talking about AI. While it is natural to focus on safely deploying AI on a broad scale, the industry also has to explain the benefits of the technology, he said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think that we ought to be much <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/nvidia-dethrones-microsoft-as-the-most-valuable-company\/492749\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">more enthusiastic<\/a> about it, help the United States realize that the only way we get left behind is if we don\u2019t apply the technology,\u201d Huang said.<\/p>\n<p>He argued that AI leaders need to be honest with people. They have to start by noting that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/nvidias-jensen-huang-says-that-ai-is-a-lazy-excuse-for-layoffs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">sweeping job losses<\/a> have not shown up so far. He added that some of the dominant storylines around AI are more distracting than truthful.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDon\u2019t <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/nvidia-ceo-says-this-is-the-decade-of-autonomous-vehicles\/493149\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">create a story<\/a> that is made up,\u201d he said. \u201cIt is made up that there\u2019s going to be a singularity. It\u2019s made up that somehow we\u2019re living in a simulation. These are all made-ups. I think it\u2019s a fun story. I don\u2019t mind listening to it. And I even enjoy the narrative when it\u2019s told by many of those leaders who are my friends.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-one-voice-stands-out\">One voice stands out<\/h2>\n<p>Huang didn\u2019t call out specific people or companies, even though he clearly thinks some of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/nvidia-ceo-ai-will-change-everyones-jobs-including-my-own\/494599\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stories about AI<\/a> are hurting public perception.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Anthropic CEO <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/business-news\/heres-why-anthropic-refuses-to-offer-9-figure-pay-like-meta\/495375\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dario Amodei<\/a> is one of the most prominent cautionary voices in the AI world. He warned that the technology could lead to major job losses.
