But getting one right takes more than adding something new to the menu, according to multi-unit franchisees interviewed by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.franchising.com\/articles\/20261019_what_are_some_important_factors_of_a_successful_lto.html\" id=\"https:\/\/www.franchising.com\/articles\/20261019_what_are_some_important_factors_of_a_successful_lto.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Franchising.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Moe Moustafa of LES Wings Partners, which runs three <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/franchises\/directory\/atomic-wings\/335227336\" id=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/franchises\/directory\/atomic-wings\/335227336\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Atomic Wings<\/a> stores, says sales aren\u2019t the only measure. \u201cYou want to see genuine excitement and engagement from customers,\u201d he says. He promoted a dirty soda launch every day for a month with help from micro-influencers until guests started bringing friends. <\/p>\n<p>Amy Boesen, who owns six <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/franchises\/directory\/rock-n-roll-sushi\/335221\" id=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/franchises\/directory\/rock-n-roll-sushi\/335221\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Rock N Roll Sushi<\/a> locations, says staff buy-in comes first. \u201cYou can\u2019t expect your team to sell something they haven\u2019t experienced themselves,\u201d she says. Her company holds a \u201cWe Buy, You Try\u201d day so employees can sample new items.<\/p>\n<p>Sam Batt, who operates 15 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/franchises\/directory\/tcby\/282866\" id=\"https:\/\/www.entrepreneur.com\/franchises\/directory\/tcby\/282866\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">TCBY<\/a> shops, says an LTO must be easy to execute and stay true to the brand. His stores have rolled out a Dubai Chocolate flavor. They look closley at the number.
